Scotts treasures ~ New Poetry Showcase. Scottish Border Poets Showcase evening, held at Abbotfords House and supported by CABN

Scotts treasures ~ New Poetry Showcase evening, held at Sir Walter Scotts former home, Abbotsford House. Poets interested in Sir Walter Scott's magnificent collection of quirky treasures were invited to take part in three writing workshops at Abbotsford to inspire new poems around the collections. The workshops were run by Borders poets Julian Colton, Anita John and Dorothy Alexander in June 2014, with further support given to poets over the summer.
A selection of the poetry, generated through the workshops, was read on the evening. The event was jointly run by the Creative Borders Arts Network (CABN) and the Abbotford Trust.
